A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT / CEO

Today, the practical applications of the private security force are unlimited in scope. Never before has there been such a need for well trained dedicated men and women to serve in this capacity. The type of personnel and, to a large extent, the methods of operation that were common 10, 20 or 30 years ago, are no longer realistic or effective in our complex technological society. It is impossible to put all security personnel in one simple category. The term “guard”, while still in use, is a false conception of what the modern private security officers are and do.
Internal Intelligence Service (IIS) has over 50 years of combined experience providing uniformed security services, from housing complexes to sophisticated research laboratories. Our objective is to staff each facility with well trained, dedicated men and women who wish to make the private protection services their career.
IIS seeks out quality individuals through a divergent process of elimination. All potential applicants must pass several tests prior to being considered for a position at IIS. These tests include, but are not limited to, security aptitude, psychological, drug testing, first aid and CPR certification, report writing, fire prevention, and detection as well as various other safety procedures. They are also tested on the legal powers and limitations of an officer.

Our goal is to keep those employees who perform their security duties up to our strict standards and we will give them an opportunity to be part of a winning team, which in turn will enhance our ability to give all of our clients the best security force they will encounter in the security profession.
All IIS employees must take 40 to 60 hours of academy classroom training before they start in the field and each employee must pass a 90 day probation period working with training officers in the field before they work on their own. Armed private patrolmen receive 60 hours of classroom training and unarmed employees receive 40 hours of classroom training. Our academy training staff is made up of experienced certified instructors from the public law enforcement and private law enforcement community, and other qualified professionals.
We at IIS are looking forward to working with you and your company and we are confident that given the opportunity to service your security needs, you will be happy with our performance.
